Open API: Band Atlas for programs and AI assistants
Band Atlas data is open as a standard JSON API for developers, procurement systems and AI assistants: every country’s networks and bands (with confidence and sources), every device’s bands, and network-by-network verdicts on whether a device works in a country. Static files, free, no key, cross-origin enabled, with an OpenAPI 3.1 description you can plug into GPT, Claude and other AI tools. Data is CC BY 4.0; please credit “Hyper Nexus · Band Atlas”.

MCP: plug Band Atlas into AI assistants
Band Atlas runs a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol) at https://www.aiotrf.com/mcp: free, no key, read-only. Once added, an AI assistant can call five tools: list_coverage, get_country_networks, check_device (will this device work in this country), check_bands (paste any module's band list) and find_devices (pick devices for several countries). The verdicts are the same as on this site.
- Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and enter the address above.
- ChatGPT: turn on developer mode for connectors in Settings, then create a custom connector with the address above.
- Cursor, VS Code and other tools: add the snippet below to mcp.json.
{"mcpServers": {"band-atlas": {"url": "https://www.aiotrf.com/mcp"}}}
