B13 · 700 Upper SMH (c)
B13 is a 3GPP LTE (4G) band (700 Upper SMH (c)), FDD duplex, uplink 777–787 MHz and downlink 746–756 MHz. The whole band sits below 1 GHz, so it is a coverage layer: it travels far and gets through walls, deciding rural and indoor signal. Of the 155 networks we check, 3 use it (United States, Canada).12

What it means for IoT devices
- For IoT devices headed to United States, Canada, support B13: it is a coverage layer, and without it indoor and rural signal drops noticeably.
Our dongles (MF833V, Dongle 400, F40) do not support B13.
