B21 · 1500 Upper PDC
B21 is a 3GPP LTE (4G) band (1500 Upper PDC), FDD duplex, uplink 1447.9–1462.9 MHz and downlink 1495.9–1510.9 MHz. It is a capacity layer: wide and fast, with shorter reach than the low bands. Of the 155 networks we check, 1 use it (Japan).12

What it means for IoT devices
- B21 adds capacity in Japan: it raises city speeds, but coverage comes from the low bands.
Our dongles (MF833V, Dongle 400, F40) do not support B21.
