B9 is a 3GPP LTE (4G) band (1800 (Japan)), FDD duplex, uplink 1749.9–1784.9 MHz and downlink 1844.9–1879.9 MHz. It is a capacity layer: wide and fast, with shorter reach than the low bands. None of the networks we check uses it.12
