n258 · 26 GHz mmWave
n258 is a 3GPP 5G NR band (26 GHz mmWave), TDD duplex, uplink 24250–27500 MHz and downlink 24250–27500 MHz. It is millimetre wave: huge bandwidth and very short range, mainly for hotspot capacity. Of the 155 networks we check, 5 use it (Italy, Spain).12

What it means for IoT devices
- n258 adds capacity in Italy, Spain: it raises city speeds, but coverage comes from the low bands.
- This is a TDD band: FDD-only modules cannot use it.
Our dongles (MF833V, Dongle 400, F40) do not support n258.
