Network access: long-term roaming
Many globally deployed IoT devices use multi-network roaming SIMs that can attach to several networks in a country, but some countries restrict long-term roaming by foreign SIMs. A local SIM roaming domestically is not affected.
⚠ Long-term roaming by foreign SIMs is not allowed: Brazil bans permanent roaming by foreign SIMs (Cullen International); IoT devices deployed in Brazil need a local operator’s SIM.3
