Network access: long-term roaming
Many globally deployed IoT devices use multi-network roaming SIMs that can attach to several networks in a country, but some countries restrict long-term roaming by foreign SIMs. A local SIM roaming domestically is not affected.
◐ No legal ban; it depends on the operators: No legal ban, but operators limit long-term roaming by foreign SIMs in their agreements. A US SIM (for example T-Mobile’s) roaming domestically onto other networks is not affected.345
